CARLA SANCLEMENTE
I am a bilingual interior designer based in Hartford, Connecticut. Raised in Bolivia and later returning to the United States for college, I hold a degree in Interior Design from the New York Institute of Art and Design, which grounds my creative and intuitive vision in technical precision and thoughtful detail. I am also a Certified Interior Decorator through Certified Interior Decorators International (C.I.D.).
Rooted in my identity as a Colombian American, and shaped by my childhood in Bolivia, I bring a global lens to my design work. Having experienced a rich tapestry of cultures, traditions, and architectural influences, these early experiences shaped my design perspective. It gave me a deep appreciation for diversity and a natural sensitivity to how different people live, gather, and experience space.
My design experience spans homes, outdoor environments, and full-scale commercial spaces — from bare sheetrock to fully realized interiors. Whether I’m creating detailed technical drawings or coordinating the finer points of a project, I’m dedicated to making the entire design process seamless and enjoyable. No two projects are ever the same, and this is what makes every collaboration rewarding.
When I’m not immersed in design, you’ll find me outdoors, where I draw endless inspiration and use it as a source for restoration.
With Joy,
Carla

LISA LANGWEIL, M.S.
I have always believed that the environment where you sleep, work, play, heal, create and learn can have a great impact on your life. A space that is thoughtfully designed can promote comfort, safety, peace and wellness. I have always loved creating beautiful, functional, organized, spaces that are nurturing and tailored to individuals of all abilities and backgrounds.
For over 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of working as both a medical and educational speech and language pathologist, helping individuals of all ages strengthen their communication, build meaningful connections, achieve personal success and gain confidence and independence. I’ve also had the honor of educating families and caregivers, empowering them to support growth beyond the therapy room.
My passion for design began in childhood and ignited further when I renovated my own home 20 years ago. Over time, both formal education and hands-on experience have shaped my design skills and the way I customize a space for my clients. I’ve designed numerous indoor and outdoor spaces, always taking the time to understand my clients’ goals, personalities, and needs to create a space that brings them joy.
One of my greatest sources of inspiration has always been my three children. Watching them grow into the remarkable adults they are today has shaped me not only as a mother but as a clinician and designer. Through every stage of their lives, I witnessed how the right environment can build confidence, spark curiosity, calm the body, and strengthen family bonds. This lived experience is also at the heart of my work-designing homes that nurture relationships, honor individuality, and provide families with places to gather, learn, laugh and feel at home.
I hope to create a space for you that connects who you are, how you live and how you want to feel.
With Joy,
Lisa
